Missions Highlight

We are excited to highlight our missionaries this month as part of our Missions Highlights. Each month, we focus on different ways we are helping to make an impact outside the church walls.

This month, we are thrilled to highlight two remarkable missionary families, the Johnsons and the Smiths. Your support enables us to partner with missionaries who are committed to planting churches and making disciples across different cultures. We are proud to support Bruce and Pam Johnson in their mission to pioneer churches in Japan. After serving in Japan for over 30 years, their church plants are now self-sustaining and led by Japanese nationals. Their use of English as a second language, with the Bible as a primary textbook, has proven to be an effective way to build relationships and lead people to Christ.

We are also excited to feature Brad and Hannah Smith, who serve with Communitas International, an organization focused on raising up and equipping local and cross-cultural servants in western urban contexts. Brad’s role as Training Director is crucial in preparing cross-cultural staff for their field work, and he works closely with regional leaders to ensure that team are well-equipped. The Smiths rely entirely on the generous support of ministry partners like Waypoint to carry out this important work.
Thank you, Waypoint, for making it possible for us to support these fantastic missionary families in their work. We look forward to seeing how God continues to use them to spread the love of Christ around the world.
